Book bag checks- Please remember to check your child’s book bag daily and take out all papers sent home.
Class Supplies- We are going through tissue really fast. Please send in a box of tissue for your child.
Change of Clothes- Since the weather has changed, we are asking all parents to send in a change of clothes that fit the season. Most of the students have shorts and short sleeve shirts, which can cause them to get ill.
Snacks- We have snack every afternoon. Please send a healthy snack with your child if you would like him/her to eat snack with their peers. (We are a sugar free school so no candy please.)
Question of the week: How can I get my child to start counting?
Well if you are walking on the stairs at home just start counting as you go up and down the stairs everyday. You can count how many nuggets they are eating for lunch, count how many chips or fruit snacks you give for a snack or count the number of toys they are palying with at home. Even if they are not counting with you at first, they will start eventually. Just keep at it. Be creative and have fun while they learn.
